Morning Sketch! Just to emphasis on “wishes” and “restrictions”!
Warming up!
A quick sketch of being in fever!
While my PC was rendering some animation sprites, I was dreaming to have my plant to have grown up some jungle way. Some foliage practice… reminded my college days specially that lovely foundation year.
“Pretty, But the only thing she loves is drawing… sigh!” - Thinks the fellow Dino.
And for me its time to get this colored! :)
They said “go towards to the fear” and I painted “traffic jam”, which I dread most.
Also I fear working on environments, as they piss me off!
A quickie sketch while I was waiting for a render from my PC. Outlined & fine tuned on Photoshop.
Such a shame I only sketch while I find myself away from PC or Books. Have to check this bad habit.
The Emperor of all Maladies -
While my pc was rendering some 3d artowrk, My fingers and mind was onto something else.
You draw what you read or grasp, and I am reading about Cancer nowadays … from the book - The Emperor of Maladies. No doubt, my mind is full with tumours, uncontrollable growth of cells, doctors, old surgeries and every tale of winning and losing. I loved this fact that so many doctors have done so much to learn about this sickness and tried to overcome from the beginning of the civilizations. And with every new technology and information around that period, the concept of the birth of Cancer was ever changing, so were the remedies and futile battles.
I still have to finish that book, so there might be more to come.
Well, its my version of the Emperor of Maladies, who lives in all of us, finding a host to uncover himself. Because if we dont die with anyother disease or incident, we eventually exit because of this disease, specially in this era where most of other illnesses like polio, stomach infections, TB etc are not as extreme, silent and fatal as cancer.
Tried Outdoor sketching yesterday… wished the day would have never ended that fast. Hopefully I will try to sketch outdoor figures and nature, more in the coming weekends. I wasnt surprised to see many families coming out and having the day off with their kith and kins. Though not jam packed like its winters or spring, the amount of studies and subjects were various.
Here in the sketch the mom is looking after here baby and the rest of the family had been wandering around the garden.
“There are some who call me….”
